What are some good romantic/pornographic movies? What are some good romantic/pornographic movies?
I want a mixture of romance and porn. Like... They meet each other, they like each other, they have sex and not just like one scene, a few scenes. And you can actually see the genitals and breasts. | | Flesh Gordon | What's the difference between erotic movies and pornographic movies? I need to understand this so that I can clearly distinguish between the two. | | Erotic movies are your common sex movies and pornographic movies are involving violence. Using the word pornography to talk about what you find in the 18+ section of your video store is a common mistake. | What is the difference between Pornographic movies and rated R movies? Since the two of them are erotic? | First, A motion picture rating system categorizes films with regard to suitability for audiences in terms of issues such as sex, violence, substance abuse, profanity, impudence or other types of mature content. A particular issued rating is called a certification.
R-Movies
-------------
R - Restricted - Under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult 21 or older. The parent/guardian is required to stay with the guy under 17 through the entire movie. Even if a parent/guardian gives permission for the under 17 yr old to see the rated "R" movie they are still not allowed. These films may contain strong profanity, graphic sexuality, nudity, strong violence, scariness, gore, and drug use. A movie rated R for profanity often has more severe or frequent language than the PG-13 rating would permit. An R-rated movie may have more blood, gore, drug use, nudity, or graphic sexuality than a PG-13 movie would admit. Some R-rated films have an "unrated" DVD release with added scenes of violence, sexual material, or profanity. At its inception, the R certificate permitted patrons aged 16 and older to attend unaccompanied, but this was raised to 17 in the 1970s. Local authorities have the power to set a higher age (usually 18, but rare cases as high as 21). On the other hand, in some places, the age requirement is not universally enforced, or not enforced at all. This is the other rating that dates back to 1968 and still exists.
Pornographic movies:
|
X or XXX - The precursor to the current NC-17 rating that unlike the other ratings was not trademarked. Because it was not trademarked it became so widely used by the U.S. pornography industry that the MPAA replaced it with the NC-17 rating in 1990. This has led to the misconception that NC-17 means pornographic in content.
In the United States, the X-rating originally referred to a non-trademarked rating that indicated a film contained content unsuitable for minors such as extreme violence or explicit sex and thus was for adults only.
When the MPAA film rating system began on November 1, 1968 in the U.S., the X-rating was given to a film by the MPAA if submitted to them or, due to its non-trademarked status, it could be self-applied to a film by a distributor who knew beforehand that their film contained content unsuitable for minors. In the late 1960s to mid 1980s, several mainstream films were released with an X-rating such as Midnight Cowboy, A Clockwork Orange, and Last Tango in Paris.
Because the X-rating was not trademarked, anybody could apply it to their films, including pornographers, which many began to do in the 1970s. As pornography began to become chic and more legally tolerated, pornographers placed an X-rating on their films to emphasize the adult nature of them. Some even started using multiple X's (i.e. XX, XXX, etc.) to give the impression that their film contained more graphic sexual content than the simple X-rating. In some cases, the X ratings were applied by reviewers or film scholars, e.g. William Rotsler, who wrote "The XXX-rating means hard-core, the XX-rating is for simulation, and an X-rating is for comparatively cool films." [2]Nothing beyond the simple X-rating has ever been officially recognized by the MPAA.
Because of the heavy use of the X-rating by pornographers, it became associated largely with pornographic films and thus non-pornographic films given a X-rating would have fewer theaters willing to book them and fewer avenues for advertising. This led to a number of films being released unrated sometimes with a warning that the film contained content for adults only. In response, the MPAA eventually agreed in 1990 to a new NC-17 rating that would be trademarked and could only be applied by the MPAA itself.
NC-17 - No one 17 and under is admitted - These films contain a lot of graphic violence, sex, aberrational behavior, drug abuse, strong language, or any other elements which, when present, most parents would consider too strong and therefore off-limits for viewing by their guyren and teens. NC-17 does not necessarily mean obscene or pornographic in the oft-accepted or legal meaning of those words. The Board does not and cannot mark films with those words. These terms are legally ambiguous, and their interpretation varies from case to case. The NC-17 designation implies that the Ratings Board has determined that due to the content of the film, it should be intended for adults only. NC-17 replaced the X rating in 1990. Many films which received X-ratings prior to the 1990 change received a re-rating of NC-17. Many theater companies and local operators will not play NC-17 titles and some newspapers and magazines will not run ads for these films. Most NC-17 titles have limited theatrical release, usually in smaller theaters, or are released directly to video or DVD. Most NC-17 titles also have an edited versions released on video and/or DVD that are either unrated or R-rated. Original | If prostitution is illegal in California why do they allow people to make pornographic movies? It seems to be a hypocrisy. Does it not? How is this justified?
**WAIT ** before you answer consider this.
What prevents a prostitute from buying a video camera and having someone record the encounter. She can just call her bedroom a 'movie studio'. She could could say she is making a movie and therefor it would not be against the law?
So yes she is making a movie but she is also getting paid to have an encounter.
Is this hypocrisy? | | Very good point. It's the same to me, maybe it's because they guy isn't paying the girl? But there is someone paying both parties so I really don't see the difference ow wait porno is art though right....NOT! | Why is European TV inflicted with so many pornographic movies from 'Christian' America? Why is your so called Christian nation exporting so much pornography into the good atheistic nations of Europe.
We don't need or want them, ours are so much better. | | You're watching the wrong channel, mate. | What is the purpose of pornographic movies? I mean every movie carries some sort of message. What kind of message a blue-film conveys? | Use to be, about exploring sexuality, the ideas that accompany it, and for educational purposes. But such purpose has for the most part completely faded (As far as I can tell).
Now in days they are more about fulffilling fantasies, and maybe with the good ones education on technique. | How often are you disappointed from the plot of pornographic movies? (Poll) ? Is it so wrong to ask for decent acting and a good story line when your paying that much money for a movie? | | I don't watch for the plot!!! I watch for the shot. Right in the face. | Actor who makes pornographic movies in the early career has moral authority speak that way of warriors? The actor is the Stallone... | If there really is even such a thing as "moral authority" I would not think that it is erased because of mistakes of the past. In fact, quite the contrary, someone who has lived on a Puritan farm and had no real experience of life might have less to speak of about the world than someone who has been around the block. My dad used to say: "Good judgement comes from experience, and experience comes from bad judgement."
However, "moral authority" could be dissolved if someone is currently doing the thing they preach against. Look at all the tax dodgers in government. Do they really have the "moral authority" to collect the taxes they avoid? These guys talk of "making sacrifices" and "tough times ahead" and "pay your fair share" when government budgets are bulging with unnecessary luxuries and troublesome cuts at the same time. Or take the "green movement" for example. Those crying the loudest to reduce carbon emissions are often the least green. It would be one thing if in the past they weren't green but changed their ways, but "moral authority" would diminish if they are currently themselves perpetrators. | Do you think any of Jonas Brothers watch pornographic movies? not including Frankie :P
i think Nick does, that's why he looks ashamed and awkward during interviews all the time.
And if you think so, what kind of stuff do you think they are into? | rofl, this question made me laugh SO HARD!!!!i don't think their parents would let them =P
and, now that i think about it, Nick DOES look ashamed and awkward in interviews! pple just say he's shy, bit idk...
lol, this question gave me a lot to think about. | How much do Fluffers get paid when making Gay Pornographic movies? Also when they file taxes, what do they put? Do they list "Fluffer" as their occupation on their 1040 forms?
Pure curiosity here :) | Ever since the rise of Viagra, fluffers really don't exist any more in the porn industry.
As for your other question, this may help educate you about how sex workers of all types file their taxes: www.slate.com/id/2229094/ |
