Are hot breasts a sign of pregnancy? I am waiting a few more days to test, I have a few symptoms - nausea, sore back, loss of appetite, slightly tender boobs, veins in boobs (particularly in nipples) and crampy stomach (nothing bad though - just an unusual feeling).
I was wondering if hot breasts are a sign - I mean hot when i touch them with my hand like high body temperature i suppose?
Has anyone else had this or heard of this?
fingers crossed for everyone

Is it normal for breasts to get hot? Lately my breasts have been really hot and I'm wondering if this is something everyones does? |
| No i have never experienced this or heard of it before. It would probably be the best idea to see your doctor to rule out anything serious. Hopefully it's just a normal quirk of the body but you can't be too careful about your health |
What do you think of a hot girl with sagging breasts? If you met a girl and she's beautiful, but has big sagging breasts. Would that turn you off? |
| It won't turn me off.I will only think that she needs to take care of her breasts. And in case we are good friends i could even tell her that. |
Breasts very hot and sore to the touch at 38 weeks? Anyone know why this would so suddenly come on? |
| I, too, am 38 weeks pregnant today. Last week, I started having the worst itching in my breasts and found that they are even itchier when I wear a bra. It more than likely is due to the fact that your breasts are getting ready for the baby. I noticed taking a warm shower relieved some of the itching. You may want to try a luke warm bath or compresses on your chest to help relieve the pressurre that is causing the uncomfortable soreness and heat. |
Is this common- My breasts feel hot and look red? I am 21 weeks pregnant with my first guy. I have started to have small amounts of leakage already. My breasts were not hurting I was just changing and noticed that they were red then that they were much warmer than the rest of my body especially my belly which is usually cool to the touch- Is this normal and did you experience this with your pregnancies??? |
| its totally fine. the mammary glands are working hard to get the milk and colostrum ready for the baby. it usually does not cause any discomfort but the warmness is to be expected. it wont last forever and will go away .as far as the redness it may just be flush due to your bodies hard work at the moment. al is well....no worries. congrats. |
What could it mean when your breasts are hot to touch? I am sixteen years old, and noticed that my chest was rather warm. I took my temperature and did not have a fever. I have also had back and ab pain when I breathe, sneeze, or cough.. I'm not sure if there is a connection, just trying to figure out what is wrong with me. |
It could be a number of things - your bra might be wearing on them the wrong way, you might have a slight flu that hasn't peaked your temperature yet, or it could be an allergic reaction to something. I have an allergy to sulfates and sulfites and when I consume them or use them, my body becomes overheated, in addition to other symptoms. However, my temperature doesn't rise. I sweat and look red in the face, sort of like a hot flash.
Those are some things to look for. Just monitor your symptoms and see if they get better or worse and what is triggering them. |

What happens when you rub hot sauce one your breasts? Someone told me it can give you breast cancer, others had said it makes them grow. What happens when you do this? |
| It burns like a son of a B! Haha |
I have a new born guy (29 days) and I am breasfeeding. My breasts arevery hot and hurting me since last 24h.? I have some emotional problems in family and also I feel very stressed because of some personal problems. There is any connection between this problems? What can I do to help my breasts and my baby? |
Sounds like mastitis- inflammation of the mammary glands. It is extremely common in breastfeeding mothers. Firt and foremost the best treatment is to keep breastfeeding, so don't give up. I also think you need to make a doctors' appointment to have this either confirmed, or to see what else it could be. Here is some information on mastitis:
