What is sadest story of drunk relative, drunk husband, father, brother, wife, mother or sister? What will you do about it how other cultures and religions have been dealing with drinking problems, can we try a creative way? |
| With modern times, use a video camera to show them, What you and others see out of them in this condition. Knowledge is power. Let them know. |
Do you think there was an intended crime planned in the Schuler story (drunk mom)? The last time I heard a media story of a husband who mysteriously went fishing, his wife showed up dead in the bay...and of course he was on TV for weeks saying how she was the perfect woman.
I keep wondering if this whole thing was a poorly planned crime that went sour (by accidentally killing guys).
All the things just don't add up. A woman leaves a campground sober (9 witnesses say) and then she is mysteriously lost (where?) for hours. This doesn't seem like merely a DUI crash. |
Yeah, this whole thing smells like deck of a shrimp boat.
It's starting to sound like Ted Kennedy was driving. |
A Drunk Story? A man and his wife were awakened at 3:00 am by a loud pounding on the door. The man gets up and goes to the door where a drunken stranger, standing in the pouring rain, is asking for a push.
'Not a chance,' says the husband, 'it is 3:00 in the morning!'
He slams the door and returns to bed.
'Who was that?' asked his wife.
'Just some drunk guy asking for a push,' he answers.
'Did you help him?' she asks.
'No, I did not, it is 3:00 in the morning and it is pouring rain out there!'
'Well, you have a short memory,' says his wife. 'Can't you remember about three months ago when we broke down, and those two guys helped us? I think you should help him, and you should be ashamed of yourself!'
The man does as he is told, gets dressed , and goes out into the pounding rain.
He calls out into the dark, 'Hello, are you still there?'
'Yes,' comes back the answer.
'Do you still need a push?' calls out the husband.
'Yes, please!' comes the reply from the dark.
'Where are you?' asks the husband.
'Over here on the swing,' replied the drunk. |
| sounds just like a drunk, very good joke, made me lol. |
Are all Russian men cheaters and uncaring partners? I've been having a relationship wth a Russian man, he's been in Britain for 8 years but he still likes to keep things Russian at home (his accent is really sexy btw lol). He can be quite distant and not very affectionate, even though he melts if I hug him. He's the typical big russian man, blond hair, light skin.
Are the horrible stories about russian men true? That they're cheaters, don't care for their guyren, beat up their wives, drink a lot? He seems pretty sweet with his nephews, they do 'men' activities. |
| wow seems like you still gotta do lot of homework. Word "ALL" doesn't apply to all people. |
Drove into my house drunk, wife is on her way home? Long story short, my wife went out of town (business) so me an a few of my friends got shitfaced at the house. We ran out of beer around 3am so we played rock, paper, scissors...I lost so i drive to the liquor store and get another 24 pack and head home. I think i see a hot chick (which later turned out not to be) on the side of the road, distracted looking at her i go to pull in the driveway (still looking in my rear view mirror at what i thought was a hot chick) an BAM!! i hit the house with the car. I kinda think "put it in reverse an get the hell out of here" for a minute...then i realize its my house...My buddy's come out an we decide to tape the side of the house up with 3 rolls of duct tape and paint the tape white to match the house. My wife will be home in 3 hours an i cant think of any good lies.....Any ideas? |
| Pack your **** and run! or switch house numbers with the people across the street, buy the time she realizes whats going on the cops will be locking her up for trespassing and that will buy you a bunch of time! |
Are the authors of Eat, Pray, Love & Drink, Play, F&*k ex husband and wife or two totally separate stories? I read both Eat, Pray Love and Drink, Play, Fu%^ and it seems that the latter makes references to his wife and it seems VERY similar to the story of Eat, Pray, Love.
Were they married to each other? |
They are not "ex"s
Andrew Gottlieb wrote his book as a tongue and cheek response to Gilbert's book. It is a parody and it is an outright piece of fiction. Although I suspect quite a bit of Gilbert's book is also fiction.
Sadly messy break ups and divorces are not all that unique and the narratives surrounding such are in danger of becoming cliche. |
Would you get mad if you found out your wife of 2 weeks was drunk and dancing on a bar while out of town? We got married two weeks ago. We went on our honeymoon. She went out of town for work for a week. While there, she got drunk every night and danced "on" the bar at several clubs. The reason I know this is I heard her telling her sister about it on the phone. I was in another room. Her story to me was "same old stuff, boring conference." |
| I wouldn't be mad about the dancing on the bar....I'd be mad that she lied about it. |
Is there any stories about a family with 4+ guys? But there parents are divorced there dad hates them and had an affair with his wife(thats why there divorced) and the dad says hes never even cared about his guys?and 3 years later the mom gets drunk at least 3 times a week? And her oldest son becomes suicidal and tries beating up his dad because he hates him? |
| That is true |
Are the stories true. Prince CHarles is gay and has a boyfriend on the side? he wants to separatne from his drunk of a wife and move in with the lover oh my what would the old queen have to say about this and done think her husband mind since i heard that he is sdcrewing around with Charles as well |
| The rumors are not about Prince Charles but about his youngest brother Prince Edward. Rumors about Prince Edward being gay was sufficient that his wife told the media "My Edward's not gay!" |
I need help with drunk wife? I am best friends with a married couple i introduced them in high school, i was a brides maid at their wedding, and i love them both dearly he's in the military so he's away now and has been for a while. but despite the fact that she's still in town i know more about what's going on with him than her. im supposed to look after her and be there for her when he's gone but she never goes anywhere, she just sits around her house. long story short i hadn't seen a lot of her the past few months until last saturday when i showed up to a party and she was there very drunk. at first i was glad to see her she looked happy and was her old loud and bouncy self, but then i saw a guy hanging all over her. i had to get between them and drag her away. she told me that she was happier than she had been since her hubby left, and that she hadn't done anything wrong. she swore she had never kissed the guy inside but did admit to wanting to. she was a mess and i thought she was lying. then a few days ago i was talking to people from the party and they told me that she hadn't done anything with him and he had gotten mad about it. I do believe her...but why would someone do that? flirt so hard with a guy when they r married is she crazy u'd have to be crazy right? and how do i appologize i said such mean things to her that night and i feel like it's my fault she went and got drunk... how do i handle this? |
She got drunk and flirted w/ that guy because she is horribly lonely. No, it doesn't make it right, but its the truth.
You apologize like you would any other time, sincerely and contritely. Then if she accepts your apology...you spend more time with her so she doesn't get lonely. Adopt her as your new BFF for while her husband is away. |
