Do you have a problem with your bf or husband looking at porn? Some people say boys will be boys, but do feel like your boyfriend is kind of cheating on you when he looks at other women? or does it not phase you? Does this bother you? Do guys expect too much, like for all women to be blonde, busty and perfect? Need opinions...what do yall think about this? | | I think it would bother me if my boyfriend compared me to the pornstars. Example, she is thinner then you or she is more busty then you. That's a tough question though, some feel that it is cheating and some just join their spouse or boyfriend in watching and have a good time. My opinion, no harm, no foul. He can't cheat on you with something on a dvd. | Weird instincts? does this happen to you? whenever im thinking about love or fantaszing i always see a picture of a flat red haired chick wiz green eyes in my mind?! i love busty blonde girls but whenever i try to dream about them, the red haired chick pops out in my mind?! i never a seen a flat red haired chick before but could this be the apperance of my perfect love | | maybe | 14 year old writer-any potential? Reviews please!? I'm nearly 14 (end of July) and love writing. Please tell me if I'm any good. The following is an excerpt from a novel I'm writing. It's more descriptive than anything else- so please no comments on how I need some action or anything- it's in there, just not in this piece:
Ada walked up the stairs to the door and murmured a quick "good night" to her parents. On her way to her bedroom, she passed Sameer's room. He had fallen asleep at his laptop, surrounded by empty beer cans. An image of a topless, busty blonde was on the laptop screen. His school books lay untouched in a neat pile by the bed, and his walls were plastered with posters out of porn magazines.
Ada's room was a stark contrast. The walls were a pale blue, bare and simple, and the furniture consisted of a double bed, a dressing table, a desk and a wardrobe. It was achingly boring, but Ada didn't want a bedroom with too many distractions. She spent a lot of time crying into her pillow. Sometimes it was just because she was going through a hormonal phase, before her period. Sometimes it was genuine sadness- the loneliness she felt and the fact she didn't have any friends since Papa announced she would be home schooled (he was terrified Ada would live on ecstasy and WKD and - God forbid- talk to BOYS, if she stayed in school any longer).
She only had a dismal three contacts on her Windows live account, and two of them were her relatives anyway.
"Ada, remember to get ready for Lalita's party tomorrow morning!" yelled Ma from her bedroom.
Of course. How could she forget? Ada's perfect sister's perfect party at her perfect new home. Perfect.
Any comments would be appreciated! Especially comments on the style of my writing. Thanks ! | | Very good. The description of Sameer's room (I assume he is the brother) hints at a "double standard" the parents have regarding their son and daughter. Keep writing. To become a great writer you must write everyday. Take creative writing classes, join a local writers group, read, read, read, and then read some more, but most importantly WRITE EVERY DAY. Ignore the first answer you got - the reply obviously has more to do with egotism than honest criticism. | For the Guys: Do you think women's standards are too high? What do you think women are looking for in a guy? Do we make it too complicated to please us? Does it seem impossible to you to fulfill our standards?
Some of the problems I ran across reading some articles were that, seemingly, women have a bad habit of putting across that we want a guy who is completely fit, really rich, very smart and talented, etc.
It's easy to see how strict the media is with the image of a woman - she has to be pretty and thin and well dressed with perfect skin. We are led to believe we should look like Carmen Electra, Nicole Kidman, and just about every busty blonde out there.
Do you guys think men are being given a hard time being compared to celebrities as well? Have you ever loathed a celebrity because your girl or potential girlfriend won't stop drooling over them? | | Most women see the guy of their dreams when drunk so it's easy then but nigh impossible when they take a look at you when they're sober so I tend to go for the ones that think I look like Brad Pitt.Although a lot tend to see me as John Goodman when they're sober.I really don't mind women drooling over Bella Lagusa or other actor it makes me feel special. | Please answer this?!?! girls especially help me im a girl i need help!? okay well everyone says beauty doesnt matter, its whats inside of you that counts, and yet almost everyone in hollywood is beautiful. beauty does count! i feel reassured when people say that personality counts more than the outside, then i see my friends trying so hard to make themselves look "hot" and i dont know what to say. i think im average looking...my mom says i dont need make up. maybe she just doesnt want me to grow up, but then my friends are always wearing makeup and asking me why i dont. am i that ugly? i used to not care, but now im constantly thinking about it. famous people are always beautiful... models always look the same..gallons of makeup, perfect features, beautiful ads, even barbie dolls are tall blonde slim and busty! the media sends us an image of what the desired body type and face is. more and more people get plastic surgery all the time. like i said i used to not care, but now when i look in the mirror, i start to hate myself. | Imma tell you something right now.
Those gorgeous celebraties in photos - edited with computers to make them look better.
On TV - their own personal stylists and top of the range make up.
Skinny models - extremely unhealthy diets that cause alot of problems.
Sweetheart - I absolutely PROMISE you that every woman can be beautiful. I am NOT saying this as a cliche. You need to wear clothes that make you feel good, wear make up that makes you feel confident (or none at all! You don't need it!) and you need to hold your head up lovey.
Beauty DOES matter - it's unfortunate, but it does. But - you are beautiful, and you can be whatever you want to be.
To someone, once in your life, you will be the most stunning and beautiful woman in the whole wide world, and they wont be able to take their eyes off you. | Who is sick of gorgeous female celebrities turning themselves into science classroom skeletons? I am so sick of the gorgeous girls of Holywood ruining their bodies by suddenly becoming anorexic! Somebody stop the madness please!!! Nicole Richie used to be a stunning, busty beauty. Now it looks like she's trying out for Miss Ethiopia. Keira Knightly was perfectly lean and beautiful, now she looks like she only eats one lettuce leaf a week! Lindsay Lohan - well thank God she came to her senses and got rid of that hideous blonde hair and she's filling out more and looking more human. But she's not as hot and busty as she used to be - i.e. see the cover of this month's Bazaar. And this stupid mineral water company wants Kelly Clarkson to lose weight or they won't use her! I hope she has enough sense to refuse those baffoons, she's already perfect! As is Cat McPhee - what is happening to their self esteem? | | The only reason these women are so thin, is because of the pressure to be thin. I do not think Kelly Clarkson is fat by any means-but she is told to lose weight. It always cracks me up when I read about a celebrity being told to lose 10 pounds--like that is really going to make a difference. That is why women develop eating disorders--there is no way a naturally thin woman can realistically lose a significant amount of weight unless she starves herself. What really kills me is that men aren't held to the same standard. Obsessing over your weight kills your self esteem. All you think about is--how many calories in that? How long do I have to work out to burn all those calories? I'm all for healthy eating and exercise, but when it becomes all you think about and how you are judged in public, then it isn't ok. These poor girls are killing themselves emotionally and physically. Plus, young girls see these women and think they should be emulating them as well. I know so many girls who aren't even teenagers yet and are on diets. They think they are fat. Why can't people love themselves the way they are? If you are legitimately overweight, then exercise and eat healthy, but don't browbeat yourself if you don't lose that 20 pounds in a week. It is so sad to see Kate Bosworth and Keira Knightly so thin. I read somewhere that some American women in a survey were shown pictures of starving African women. They were asked to comment on the pictures. Several women said they were jealous that the women were so thin. How messed up is that? | Good character names for book? For a:
